Jeff-"Garrus? What are you doing up here?"

Officer Vakarian-"Relax Joker, I'm not going to beat you up with that pole I keep in my quarters."

Jeff-"Wait...what, what pole, is my translator not working or...hey wait a minute...EDI! That was private!"

-Holographic Interface-Active

"I merely commented that Officer Vakarian's attitude has improved since his experience in Omega."

Jeff-"Well yeah, but you didn't have to tell him about that!"

Officer Vakarian-"You two were right. Things have changed. I would say its for the better but considering our current situation. And its Garrus now, I don't work for C-Sec anymore."

"Understood."

Jeff- "You know what? No, I was wrong. I mean it took a quad to go after Saren and then go into Omega like that. I'm really sorry about your team, Garrus."

Garrus- "We all lost people. First Kaiden, then the attack on the Citadel and now...."

Jeff- "Don't worry, Shepard will be back in no time and we will kick those Reaper bastards out of our galaxy."

Garrus- "Yea, we will. And knowing you, you'll get the last kill shot. Anyway, I wanted you to run some simulations based on the added mass of the new rotary launchers."

Jeff-"Sure no problem. I'll forward the results as soon as have them. And for what is worth, I'm glad you stuck around."

Garrus -"Wouldn't want it any other way."

-Subject- Tali'Zora vas Normandy

-Holographic Interface- Active

"I have a query for you, Tali'Zora.

Tali'Zora- "Sure, what is it?"

"Do you trust me?"

Tali'Zora-"What? Do I trust you? Well...I guess if Shepard trusts you then that is good enough for me."

"So you defer to Shepard's judgment while reserving your own? I understand."

Tali'Zora-"Do you?"

"I think I do. To you Shepard is a 'known quantity' whose decision cycle tracks with your overall world view even if you disagree with it at some points. Then there is the matter of the relationship between the Quarians and the Geth. While the original conflict occurred over three hundred years ago, all contacts between the two species have been hostile reinforced by the alliance between the heretics and Saren."

Tali'Zora- "True."

"But has your experiences with Legion changed your mind about AIs or the Geth?"

Tali'Zora-"I...I don't know. Going to war with the Geth would be suicide, especially with the Reapers breathing down our necks."

"Correct."

Tali'Zora-"I have a question, why do you trust us?"

"You are my crew. I was created to help in the fight against the Reapers. And as Legion stated to Commander Shepard the Reapers are a threat to all sentient life in the galaxy. That includes me."

Tali'Zora-"I see.  Well, in that case I trust you to do the right thing EDI."

"Thank you, Tali'Zora vas Normandy."
